This course is Instruction is in the use and handling of a Handgun. Designed for First-time and experienced shooters who want to re-sharpen their pistol skills. Maximum two Students.
Your Instructor: Local Law Enforcement Agent with over 36 years of professional firearms experience. Including SWAT, High risk entries, and close quarter engagements, NRA certified instructor in Pistol and Rifle, USCCA Concealed Carry CCW Instructor.
What does all this mean? You will receive approximately Two to Three hours of individual instruction.
Lecture/Dry-Fire Hand’s on Topics Include: Primary Firearms Safety Rules, Safe Handling. Difference of Handguns available on the market including, Firearm Operating systems, nomenclature, Stance, Proper Grip, Eye dominance, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Trigger manipulation and firearm control, loading, reloading and unloading. How to purchase and Laws, laws covering the use of a firearm for self-defense, in addition to storage and transportation.
Approximately Two and Half Hours of classroom instruction
Live-Fire Range Drills Include: We will put all of the above principles to use, In addition to instruction in, engaging targets with speed and accuracy from close quarters out to 15 yards.
Firing 100 Rounds.
Approximately 90 minutes.
